Creative Cookery

This class takes place every Tuesday 9.30am - 11.30am at the Busy Bee Family Centre. It gives people the opportunity to learn new cooking skills at a basic level and to have a better understanding of preparing healthier meals . Age range is 16 plus.

Far Eastern Cookery

This class takes place every Friday at Galon Uchaf Residents Centre. There are two classes. Morning - 9.45am - 11.45am. Afternoon - 12.30 - 2.30pm. The class runs for 10 weeks, people are taught how to prepare different themed meals that are healthy and not expensive to make.

Ingredients are free and all meals prepared are sampled by the class. If you would like to join one of our classes contact Gemma on 01685 352988.

Art Class

3Gs Art Classes run from the Galon Uchaf Centre every Tuesday from 1pm till 3pm residents learn to use Acrylic Paintings on themes like landscapes, Still Life, Animals, Abstract and many more. There are people in the class that never painted before and really enjoy the atmosphere and the results of their hard work.

Digital Photo Class run every Wednesday in the computer room of Galon Uchaf Centre. Residents learn from start to finish how to work a digital camera and download their precious photos to the computer. We also learn how to manipulate the photos on the computer with photo software to be able to get the best possible photos. This is an easygoing class with handouts to make it as easy as possible to help the community understand this new technology. Contact Peter Price on: 01685 352980 for more information on both classes.
